Magdalena Bartkiewicz-Podoba Leads the Liebrecht & wooD Group in Poland

The Liebrecht & wooD Group is pleased to announce that Magdalena Bartkiewicz-Podoba has joined the management team. On 18 December 2017 she was appointed General Manager of Liebrecht & wooD Poland. 

Magdalena Bartkiewicz-Podoba has been with the Liebrecht & wooD Group for 20 years. She worked as Legal Department Director and since 2002 she had been co-managing day-to-day operation of the company, first as a board member, then as a partner and the company’s shareholder. She also performed the function of General Counsel, responsible for all major transactions and supervision of legal support to the companies of the Liebrecht & wood Group in Poland, Russia and Romania. In 2015 she set off for over a year sabbatical break, during which she travelled around the world and devoted time to her family and life passions – humanities, exploring new places, getting to know and getting inspired by people and off-piste skiing. In 2016 she founded with two other investors a start-up business, which is now being run by the remaining founders.

As General Manager of Liebrecht & wooD Poland, Magdalena Bartkiewicz-Podoba will execute real estate projects in Poland and manage a team of over 60 people in the Warsaw’s headquarters of the Group. Both Founders of the Liebrecht & wooD Group – Marc Lebbe and Patrick Van Den Bossche – will keep their roles as Managing Directors of Liebrecht & wooD Group.

Magdalena Bartkiewicz-Podoba graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw (1997). She also completed British and European Legal Studies by University of Cambridge in collaboration with Warsaw University and postgraduate studies in negotiation and mediation at the Warsaw School of Social Psychology (2001). In 2005 Magdalena Bartkiewicz-Podoba qualified as a Polish legal advisor. She is married and has three daughters. She is also a chairman of NonIron Foundation Council.
